Balto is not just the name of a leather parka. This name is dictated by a feat performed by a husky dog ​​named Balto. At the beginning of the last century, the American city of Nome was dying from an epidemic of diphtheria. Balto covered the last 80 km of 1000 km and delivered the life-saving vaccine to people in need. A monument to this husky rises in New York's Central Park.
